She was born April 8, 1959, the daughter of James and Sarah Beth Short, Jr., who preceded her in death.
Martha was a resident of the Stewart Home School for 23 years, where she was involved in the Square Dance Club and the Sunshine Club.
She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Julie Graham (Andy), Jim Short (Heather) and David Short (Brenda), as well as nephews and nieces, James, David, Sarah and Becca.
A memorial service to celebrate Martha’s life will be conducted at 10:30 AM Friday at the Stewart Home School, 4200 Lawrenceburg Rd, Frankfort, KY.
In lieu of customary expressions, donations may be given to the Louisville Zoo or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
