Martha C. Gividen, 86, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
She was the former co-owner of Shively Small Appliance Repair and former bookkeeper for Gividen Electric Company. She was a member of Bullitt Lick Baptist Church and Dixie Suburban Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Gividen.
Survivors include her daughters Joyce Federspiel, Pauline Murphy, and Tina Mitchell; grandchildren, Sean and Paul Murphy, and Jenni Allen; and great-grandchildren, Morgan and Terry Allen.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 Saturday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery (Centerfield, KY). Visitation will be from 10 am – 8 pm Friday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
