SCHOOLEY-SHEPARD, MARLENE, 76, of South Louisville passed from this life on Friday December 2, 2011 at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was the former Marlene Moellman, retired from the probation-parole division of the KY State Department of Corrections, and a life member of the ladies auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6182. She is survived by her husband, John Shepard; a son, Cary Schooley (Debbie); a daughter, Susan Haburne (Marshall) and two grandsons. A service to celebrate Marlene's life will be held at noon Tuesday at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment in the KY Veterans Cemetery Central will be private. Visitation will be after 10 am Tuesday.
