She was a former employee of Miracle Ear, Dignity Memorial Funeral Homes, and Jefferson County Schools. She was a member of Life Bridge Christian Church, and was passionate about being involved in the lives of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Alvie Watson; a son, Tom Watson (Tina); a daughter, Juanita Malone (Brad); grandchildren, Miranda, Molly, Cameron, Madelyn, Lauren, Lindsey, and Makenzie; a sister, Carol Gilmer; and nieces Joyce Fortwengler and Melissa Bayton.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., followed by burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-8 pm Wednesday and after 10:00 Thursday.
