Marian L. Cook, 91, of Louisville, passed away in the early morning of March 5, 2011 at the Meadowview Health & Rehab Center. She was the former Marian Kiper and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. Earlier in life Marian had worked for Bankers Life & Casualty as a claims adjuster with over 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon S. Cook in 2003, and several siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Robinson (Bill) and Judy Cook; sister, Nova Stonefield; granddaughters, Sherry Robinson and Angie Greenleaf; and great-granddaughter Katie Greenleaf.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
