Margaret Votaw

Margaret Votaw, 89, passed away May 8, 2021. She was a 50 year plus member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and served on most every committee there. Margaret loved gardening, fishing, corn hole and UK Wildcats. Most of all, Margaret loved the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Bud” Votaw; and son Donald Votaw.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Phillips, Patti Stewart (Chuck), Linda Votaw; daughter in law, Brenda Votaw; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be at Mt. Holly United Methodist Church Friday at 12:00pm. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home and from 10am-12pm on Friday at Mt. Holly United Methodist Church.

Memorial donations in Margaret’s honor should be directed to Camp Loucon or Mt. Holly United Methodist Church.
