Margaret Erma Fowler

My life was beautiful and I thank everyone who shared it with me!

In 1939 my lifetime spiritual journey with God began fresh off the Maupin farm in Lebanon KY.

The foundational ‘love everyone’ roots instilled in me as a child carried through my entire life’s journey, a 35 year career with Ma Bell telephone company, 47 year Elks Ladies Auxiliary member & former president, St. Martha parish member, lifetime of charitable outreach, and to employ God’s love in every breath in this world to family, friends, and strangers.

One of my life’s greatest blessings is being a mother & grandmother to Lisa Finn (Mary, Tabby, Faith), Mike Higginbotham (Galina: Abigail, Prescott), Tony Higginbotham (Karen: Heather-Kyle-MJ, Jacob, Brooke), Cindy Russell (Gary: Audrey, Gary Jr), and many great grandchildren. The blessing of sharing decades of life with my partner Kenneth Fey was rich beyond words and measure (thank you my love).

I took my final journey home to God on March 8, 2021. In this glorious view are my parents Albert & Lucy Maupin, my siblings (Bill, Edna Mae, Joe, Paul, Richard, Charles Robert, Louis Bertrum, Pat) and the father of my greatest blessings Robert Higginbotham and their stepfather Paul Fowler. For my dear sister Veronica Hagan our family is watching over you with loving hands.

When you look at my picture be strong and celebrate my beautiful life. The flowers in my basket are endless and represent all the beautiful memories in each day of my life. Please always shower one another every single moment with love, compassion, dance, and laughter! Love you all so, so much...
