Margaret Bruce

She was born in Casey County, KY to the late Wilson and Mae Bunch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and her baby daughter, Sharon. She was the last surviving of five sisters and two brothers.

Mom loved with her whole heart and centered her life around her children and grandchildren. But her love also extended to so many others who also thought of her as mom/mamaw. We cherish our memories, celebrate her life, and rejoice that she is now at peace with the Lord.

She is survived by four children, Rhonda Henry (Skip), Brenda Howell (Marvin), Denise Colston (Danny), and Michael Bruce (Wendy); eight grandchildren, Skipper (Chris), Brad, Stacy (Larry), Lori (Brian), Jacob (Shannon), Jared (Nicole), Maggie (Michael), and Kyle; five great-grandchildren, Lewis (Kelsy), Kaitlynn (Jacob), Mason, Noah, and Abigail; two great-great-grandchildren, Miles and Addilyn; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be on Friday, August 18th, at 12:30 pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Thursday from 1pm until 8pm.
