Downs, Marcella Weining, 89, entered into eternal rest on December 17, 2014. She was a loving and caring woman. Marcella was outgoing and loved to socialize with people. She was a member of the Knights Athletic Club.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 52 years, Raymond Downs and former husband of 14 years, Wilbert Kiefer.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karen Aberli, Robert (Lois) Kiefer, Raymond (Selena) Downs, and Charles “Fred” Downs; grandchildren, Julia (Patrick), Timothy (Kelly), Meagan (Ben), Austin, Kirstin, Kyrie (Ryan), Kylie, Christine, Angela, Rachael, and Katherine; and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be Monday at noon at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1406 East Washington Street. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-8:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery following the mass.
