Mamie Lee Hough, 94, of Louisville, passed away June 29, 2024. She was retired from the National Institute of Health, where she was recognized for her excellent and outstanding work. She was a member of the Shively Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and will be remembered for her love of her pet cats.
Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, Yancy and Ola Williams; husband, William Hough; son, William James Hough; and six siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Geneva Martin; brother, Bruce Williams(Linda); and sisters, Zelma Coffey and Nannie Williams.
Funeral service will be 1pm Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-1pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Mamie’s memory can be made to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
