She was a member of KYANA Antique Car Club since 1958, and was a Catholic by faith. Mabel had worked at J.R. Hardesty Candy Company, Value City, AA Driver’s School, and Kmart.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Hardesty.
Besides her husband, Mabel is survived by her children Andy Hardesty, Florence Brummett (Joseph), and Kathryn Hardesty; her grandchildren, Dara Hardesty, Paige Hardesty, Renee Goatley (Thomas), Jeremy Hardesty, Travis Hardesty, Greg Allen, Patrick Allen (Devon), Adrienne Bronson (Curt), Holly Rothman, and Zachary White; and great-grandchildren, Jax Johnson, Jordan Vanover, Jaidyn Goatley, Carson Allen, Taylor Allen, Cheyanne Bronson, and Maximus Bronson.
Visitation will be held from 12-8 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Thursday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Rd, followed by burial at St. George Cemetery, Brandenburg.
