Loren Darryl Scruggs, 53, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. Loren was born on February 20, 1968 in Los Angeles, California to George W. Scruggs and Lorraine LoZina Lakoduk Scruggs.
He is preceded in death by his father, George W. Scruggs.
Loren retired from the US Army and continued his path working for the military as a civilian Logistics Manager.
He is survived by his two sons, Ashton Taylor Scruggs (Julia), Spencer Ellis Scruggs (Caleb); granddaughter, Eily Brigidsiobhan Coy; mother, Lorraine Scruggs; sister, Lori Scruggs Reyes (Luis); nephew, Michael Loren Scruggs; and great-nieces, Madison, Julia and Isabella Chavez.
A memorial visitation for Loren will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VFW Post 8639, 4205 Lambert Road, Okolona, KY 40219.
