Lois Jean Reynolds

Lois was born on July 31, 1940 to the late Rueben O Hooper and Wanetta Shannonhouse. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and “GG” to her adored great-grandchildren.

Lois retired from Kentucky Farm Bureau after 19 years of working as a housekeeper. She was an avid member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and a member of the VFW post 1170 in Middletown, Ky.

She is preceded in passing by her loving husband of 41 years, Donald Reynolds Sr; her brothers Junie and Danny Hooper; and a great-grandson Ian Bockting. Here to carry on Lois’s memory are her three loving children; Donald Reynolds Jr, Debra Burgin (Jodie), and Karen Bockting (Steve); her brother Michael W Hooper (Debra); four grandchildren, Jason Burgin (Chasidee), Amanda Haskovec (Josh), Courtney Barker (Derek), and Adam Bockting (Jessi); and six great-grandchildren, Tyler & Tatum Burgin, Jenna & Brady Haskovec, Owen & Nathan Bockting; and a host of friends and neighbors.

Due to COVID-19 all services will be private for immediate family members only. Lois will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
