It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Logan Ashlyn Winkler, aged 24, who left us suddenly on August 13th. Logie Bear was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend, cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born on November 16, 1999 in Louisville, KY, Logan was a beacon of light and joy from the very beginning. Known for her radiant smile and the warmth she brought into every room, she was affectionately called "Pumpkin Pie" and "Pocketful of Sunshine" by her loving mother. She was a 2022 graduate of the University of Kentucky. Logan's passion for music and her exceptional singing voice were a source of immense joy and inspiration to those around her. She expressed her soul through melodies and lyrics, touching hearts and uplifting spirits.

Austin Risher(Nicole), Shelby Stivers (Drew), Jess Happel (Austin), Jake and Joe Lemon. Her maternal grandparents John Chamberlin (Liz, deceased 2022) and paternal grandparents Mary Winkler (Bill, deceased 2018) as well as grandparents, Doug and Kathy Risher and Sharon Jessee, along with many loving aunts, uncles, a nephew and lots of cousins. Her closest friends Jessica, Elly, Kara, and Olivia will dearly miss their forever friend. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her generous spirit, and the profound impact she had on the lives of others. Her beloved dog Chester, will be at her side forever.
A visitation will be held on August 24 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. followed by a private memorial service for family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ballard High School Choral Program, Ludus - Ballard High School Choir in honor of Logan's love for music or to Mental Health America, http://www.mhaky.org , 1588 Leestown Rd Suite 130 Box 279 Lexington KY 40511 to support the 988 Crisis Lifeline, as sign of her compassionate nature and willingness to help others, that she would wish no one to endure the pain she must have felt inside.
We mourn the loss of such a beautiful soul gone too soon and find comfort in knowing that her light will continue to shine in the memories of those she loved. Always look for Logan in the trees, with the birds, in the wind and in the moon. Rest in peace, dear Logan. You will forever be in our hearts.
