66, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She had retired from General Electric. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Geraldine Adams and her husband Roy Parrott. She is survived by her loving daughter, Missy Shanks; grandson, Curtis Shanks: aunts, Barbara Ison and Bobby Demishow; long time friend; Don Smith; half-sisters, Theresa and Jan; a nephew, Jesse and several extended family members. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 till 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
