Linda Jordan Meadows, 76, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017. She was born January 9, 1941 in Libertyville, IL to the late Frederick John and Marjorie Eulalia Campbell Jordan.
She is survived by her loving wife, Sophie Elise Meadows, of almost 37 years, her sister, Laura Jordan of the Nashville, TN, area, her first cousin, Susan Hubbard of Madison, WS, and her many friends.
Linda loved and enjoyed life to it's fullest. She kept up avidly with current events and loved to read books on her iPad and watch tv, especially mysteries that involved forensic investigations, where she could solve the solution before the end of the book or program.
Linda loved her kitties, Kelli and Daisi, that she shared with Sophie. Linda and Sophie provided unconditional love to each other. She enjoyed spending hours doing her jigsaw puzzles; they filled their home. She was very witty and intelligent and had an infectious laugh. She loved her church, Central Presbyterian, the co-pastors, Ann Deibert and Mark Baridan, and her many friends in the congregation that supported her and Sophie in their nearly 19 years together there.
Services to celebrate Linda's life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 13th, in the sanctuary on the first floor of Central Presbyterian Church, 318 W. KY Street. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 1 to 2 in the chapel on the same floor.
Any memorial gift beyond simple flower arrangements may be donations to Central Presbyterian and/or the KY Humane Society as per her wishes. Please leave a message of condolence for the family at www.archlheadycralle.com
