Lillian Esther Howard, 89, of Louisville, passed away June 9, 2015. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. She was a Catholic by faith. Lillian is preceded in death by her grandson, Terry Miller; stepson, Sherman "Arnie" Howard, Jr.; and her brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Sherman Howard, Sr.; children, Carol Simmons(Bob), William Donald Vest, Shermaine Miller(Buc), and Diana Kelly; stepdaughter, Sharon DeFevers; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2pm Friday, June 12, 2015 at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday. Memorial contributions can be made to Hosparus.
