Lillian P Buckman, 78, of Louisville passed away on the morning of January 31, 2013 at Baptist Hospital East. She was the former Lillian Parrish and a homemaker. She had been a member of St. Martha Catholic Church, a bowler and avid square and ballroom dancer. She belonged to the #5 Moose Lodge, was a volunteer at Baptist Hospital and was a loving, compassionate and caring person.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Louis V. Buckman and her son-in-law, Patrick Willoughby.
Left cherishing her memory are her daughters, Belinda "Wendy" (Steve) Traud, Kathie Willoughby, Lisa (David) Powell; sister, Hattie Deitchler; grandchildren, Brandon (Colleen) Traud, Megan Willoughby, Stephanie (Nick) McDaniel, Jason (Cassie) Powell, Joseph (Damaris) Willoughby, Vincent Powell; great-grandchildren, Nolan McDaniel, Isaac and Kaya Traud; companion, Jack Ruck and her beloved dog, Ernie.
A Life Celebration will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
