Mom, This has been a rough week for some reason..I have had to wipe more tears than ever.  I miss you so bad.  I miss our phone calls, our talks, no matter if it was just the same things.  I feel so lost without you.  I wish I had another chance to tell you how much I loved you.  You always said you knew, but Mom did you.  Did you know that you were on my mind, when I woke up, when I went to bed.  Did you know how many times I would get up and walk or ride around the block to make sure I could tell you were ok?  I knew some nights you felt so bad, and now I wish I would have came and slept on the couch to just hear you breath.  I wake up at nights wishing I could lay my head on your pillow like I would at the hospital.  I am so glad I got to stay with you day and night the last 17 days of your life. Alot of times there was no words exchaged for hours, but just knowing you were there and I was there to help you made it all ok.  I would do it again in a heartbeat.  I miss "OUR" time.  Just you and me.  Mom I hope you knew I thought you were the greatest.  Yes when I was young, I gave you alot of greif, but as time went on I realize just how great you were.  MY TRUE FRIEND.  Always there no matter what.  I miss our lunches, Granny Lou and Ed went with us on sunday. It would have been so much better if you were there also.  Sundays just arn't the same, they never will be.  The pew is empty, lunch is lonely, and no one to ride home with.  I miss you so much.  I keep thinking it won't be long till I see you again...just how long I don't know.  I know you will be waiting for me though, right at those gates wondering why it took me so long.  Mom, if only I could hear your voice, to hear you say I love you Mar.  I miss that so much.  I am so glad though, that seldom a day went that I didn't talk to you...more that once.  I love you mom, tell everyone hello for me.  I miss them also.

Mom, I come to the cemetary alone...I long to hear your voice.  I miss you so bad.  I know that your not there, but the comfort of knowing that someday I can come and be with you for eternity helps me.  I knew when you were gone, life would not be the same.  I know YOU told me that tears I shouldn't shed that I had done all I could for you.  Mom these tears aren't out of sorry, they are because I miss you so bad.  I want to call you and hear your voice, I want to see your face, to touch your hand.  I am so glad that we shared the love we did together.  That we were best friends.  I was your baby, the one who would do anything I could for you.  I cherish the memories we have shared, I have so thankful that we did so much together.  I want to see you soon Mom, I want to hear your voice, Please tell Daddy and Darlene how much I miss them.  I can't wait till the time I get to come thru those pearly gates, and see you all again. Mom, its Christmas...its not the same without you.  We have carried on the tradition.  Everyone came and we had a good time. Of course we shed some tears. The baby was a joy, he helped to ease the pain. I love you.  Mar

Mom, It was a hard day today.  Kim and I both were crying on the phone.  We miss you so much.  I keep thinking each day it will get easier, but it seems to get harder.  I saw several of your friends at Audubon today.  They were so concerned about us.  They miss you also.  Some didn't know.  I could see the shock, and tears as I told them.  You were so loved MOM. Missing you MOM, Kim especially seems to be trying to keep me so busy but I still have those times that I just want to be with you. I knew it would never be the same without you, but I guess I didn't realize how hard it was going to be.  I try to be strong like you said, and not shed tears.  Mom that is impossible.  I run into people who had no idea you had passed and to tell them just opens up the wounds even more.  You were so loved by so many people.  You did not realize how many people really loved you.  I hope I can have the legacy you have left behind.  Love you MOM

MOM, I wish there was someway to know you are watching over us.  I miss you so much.  Each day I realize more how much I talked to you, and how lonely I am without you here.  I pick up the phone, to call, on sundays I am waiting for you at church.  I call to see if you need anything from the store...Pat answers but doesn't need anything.  I walk by the card aisle, and wonder who should I be buying cards for this time.  I know you are better, and pain free.  My heart really hurts for you though.  I didn't realize how hard this was gonna be.  I try to be strong, and not let others see me cry and hurt but Mom you were my everything.  I don't think this hurt will go away.  Tammy calls from heaven with reports from you and the angels.  They brighten my moment, but I know your still not here.  Why can't there be a phone in heaven.  Just to hear your voice one more time...to hear you say "MAR"...that would mean so much.  I love you mom...please I hope you know how much I did,...Thanks for being the best mom and friend in the world.  Save my space...It won't be long till I come to you.  Love Mar

Mom, Thanksgiving was a hard day.  I kept wanting to talk to you so bad.  The dumpling were awful, someone stirred them.  The table was full, we had it at the firehouse.  I thought it would be easier, and Paul had to work.  There was still that empty seat that you should have been sitting in.  I miss you so bad mom...I love you.  I try to act so strong, and not cry in front of others, but my heart is hurting so bad.  Sometimes I really feel it is going to explode.  I knew I would miss you, and life would not be the same.  I didn't dream it was going to be this bad though.  You kept me going, you were the one I talked to about everything, and was the Matrioch of our family.  I really wish I could just hear your voice.  I know in my heart that you are in a better place, but I still sit and cry wishing I was with you.  Mom you were my everything...I depended on you for so much, and now there is no one I love you

Mom, I miss you so much.  I keep picking up the phone to call you to tell you every little thing.  Then I remember your in Heaven where there is NO suffering, and you don't have to worry.  I love you Mom, I'm so glad you kept telling me how much you loved me.  I know I was a pistol growing up, and was not the best kid...but Mom we became the best of friends. I know lots of people wish they had that relationship with there mom.  I tried to be the daughter you would be proud of.  I know you worried when I was younger but Mom, I did grow up.  I have three beautiful kids that you were so proud to be their MEMAW.  You did so much for them and with them. They too are lost without you.  Jonah still says MeMaw as cute as ever.  He wonders where you are when we go see Papa, yes we are checking on him.  I asked my friends if there was a phone in heaven, none of them would say there was, but they all agreed when I pray, God will let you know I'm ok.  Mom the holidays are going to be rough. pat,marlene and family,so sorry to hear of lila's passing.we just found out today about the special person's passing.she wil be remembered by me,as my "boss" who i shared my laughs and sorrows with,and was always ready to come to someone's rescue.i can hardly get around,but just want you all to know,that you all are in our prayers. She went to the nursery everyday after we found out Troy was born at Audubon and she rocked him and cuddled him for me until he could come home to us. Marlene, I am so sorry for what you are going through.  Just reading what others are saying about your mom, reveals to me how you became the wonderful person that you are.  Not to mention that your mom must have been a saint to love you through your teen years (please smile). Ms.Lila was a great friend to my Granny Wanda McAllister. She was always sending cards to one of our family members filled with love and prayers for whatever was needed. Mom, are you okay?  How are you breathing up there?  I'm sure you have been so busy talking and rejoicing that you have forgot to take a breath.  Thats okay Mom, we don't have to worry anymore.  You have all the Oxygen you need now.  I miss you so much!  You told me not to cry, that I had done all I could...Mom how do I not shed tears for the best Mom ever.  You were my best friend, my psch, my dr, my clock revolved around you...you were my everything.  My life will not be the same without you.  I know that you are in a better place and that so many were there to greet you, but mom its so hard not to have you here.  Who is gonna be the one I call for everything?  I keep hearing you say I'll be okay, don't worry but Mom I did.  I knew when this day came I would be so lost.  I know you loved us so much, and that we were the reason you struggled so hard. Lila was one of my special Lady Bugs!  She enjoyed life and loved her family and friends.  She will be missed.

Mom, today has been a rough day.  I picked up the phone so many times to call you, only to remember that I had to tell you this morning "I love you, I will see you soon".  Mom, I know you will not be suffering and trying to catch your breath, but my heart is broken.  You were more than my MOM, you were the first thing I thought of each morning,and the last before I went to sleep.  We were more than Mother, and Daughter, WE were Best Friends.  We have shared so much time together, and I don't regret any of it.  No matter how much time it took to get you to the car somedays, it was always worth it. The talks we had, the touch of our hands, just calling to make sure you were ok.  Mom, you were the GREATEST.  I will miss you so much.  I hope I can be half the mom and memaw you were to us.  Thanks for always being there for me, no matter what, I knew you were there for me. I will always tell Jonah, how great you were. Mom, I know you are in heaven, That is what will make this easier for me.  To know that you aren't suffering anymore and that you are with loved ones.
