Lewis Neal Hines

Lewis N Hines was born on June 27, 1936 in his grandparents' home in Prentiss, Ky. He passed away on February 27, 2024 at his home in Louisville. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Julie Merriam Hines, his daughter Carmen Hedger (Wendell), and two grandchildren, Angela Hedger and Russell Hedger. He is also survived by his stepchildren Tracie Daher (Jason) and Bill Wooldridge (Leann) and their children: Billy Wooldridge (Kailey), Shelby Peters (Jake), Jarred Daher and Halie Daher. Lewie graduated from Male High School in 1954. He retired from Hines Construction Company and the Veterans Administration. He and Julie enjoyed 21 winters on Pine Island in Florida. He bought his first of six houseboats on Dale Hollow Lake in 1966 and owned “HINESITE” at the time of his death. He leaves many to miss his own particular style of humor. Lewie liked nothing better than having drinks with friends. Raise a glass in his memory today! Entombment in Evergreen Cemetery.
