Leo "Butch" Seger

Leo J. “Butch” Seger, 79, of Louisville passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at his home. He was born in Louisville on November 12, 1935 to the late Robert A. and Francis Seger. Butch was a 1953 graduate of St. X High School and was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. He was a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jane W. Seger; children, Ron (Tina), Debbie, Steve (Jane), David (Mary Ann), Carol, Kevin (Kathleen), Jeff (Becky) and Sharon; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Kamer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Friday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
