He was born February 28, 1943 in Turner County, South Dakota, the son of Leo Alfred Link and Mabel (Laufmann) Harr. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty Link.
Leo graduated from Huron College in Huron, SD and served in the United States Army. He worked as a Claims Adjuster in Insurance his entire career.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Barbara Link; two children, Eric Link (Tara) of Ft. Worth, TX and Leah Link-Ulrich (Matt) of Goshen, KY; two grandchildren, Lucy Link and Garen Ulrich; one sister, Lois Solberg (Dale) of Minnesota; one aunt, Carol Huber; two nieces; two nephews; numerous cousins and many foster children over the years.
No public services are planned at this time.
