Laurie Ann Sherman

Laurie was born August 6, 1965 to her late parents, John and Mary Rose Densford. Also preceding her in death are her brothers, John Dowd Jr., Steven Francis and Robert Mark Densford.

Laurie was a graduate of Iroquois High School and Watterson Business College. She was currently employed at the Amazon Fulfillment Center and was a former long-term employee of the Courier Journal Newspaper. Laurie was an avid fan of the Hanover College Women's Soccer Team, where her daughter Elizabeth is a team member, and the Desales High School Football Team where her son, Thomas, is a team member. She was also a University of Louisville sports fan.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elizabeth Rose Sherman and Thomas More Sherman; siblings, Mary Lynn Gilbert and James Thomas Densford; fiancée , Greg Boswell; sisters-in-law, Sonya Williams and Patricia Sue Densford ; two nieces, two nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews.

Laurie was a loving, generous and caring sister, mother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed at family gatherings during the holidays, outings at South Park County Club and birthday celebrations at Kingfish.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday 10 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6105 South 3rd Street, with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home Thursday from 4-8 pm.
