He was the retired owner of Ohlmann's PicPac. Mr. Ohlmann was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, where he flew a B-29 Superfortress. He was on the flight crew and served as a chief after World War II. Mr. Ohlmann and his crew flew the entire coast line from Mexico to Canada as part of the Electronic Counter Measures radar detection.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Elizabeth Ohlmann; four children, Kathy Langston (Jeff), Elaine Beck (Mike), Kenny Ohlmann (Pat) and Susan Ohlmann (Tracey); eight grandchildren, Chad and Jake Ohlmann, Bryan Tincher (Heather), Gregory Beck (Kristin), Alex Langston, Danielle Skaggs, Sydney and Shane Ohlmann; five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Landon and Haylee Tincher, Keaton Robinson and soon to have Baby Boy Beck; three brothers, Eugene Ohlmann, Jim Ohlmann (Marilyn) and David Ohlmann (Diana) and a sister, Julie Voyles.
His funeral will be on Monday, January 30th, at 10am at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2pm until 8pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway
