Laura B. Huffman

She was born to the late Anna Belle and James Irvin French. Her husband Roy Gregory "Greg" Huffman who passed in October 1973, and seven siblings; James I. French Jr., Anna Catherine Dewitt "Sis", Beatrice Ray "Bea", Dorthy Bowling, Bill French, John French, and Tommy French, and son-in-law; Michael K. Thomas Sr., also preceded her in passing.

Laura was a kind woman who enjoyed living life. She retired from General Electric as an assembly worker in 1993. Taking trips and making memories with family was her favorite thing to do.

Here to cherish her memory is her children; Donna Sue Cochran (Richard), Gregory "Greg" W. Huffman, Monica Thomas, and Linda Diane Huffman. Seven grandchildren; Laura Smith (dec. Joe), Dawn Cochran, Michael K. Thomas, Jr. (Ashli), Anthony "Tony" Thomas (emilee), Autumn Thomas, Thomas "Tommy" Huffman, Nicholas "Nicky" Huffman, 8 great grandchildren; Bradley, Jessica, Masden, Bowen, Lilee, Gunnar, Carly, and Ariyah, three siblings; Margaret "Margie" McFelia, Robert L. French, and Patricia "Patsy" Hayse.

A visitation for Laura will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Laura will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
