Mr. Booth was a retired car man with CSX Railroad. He also was an army veteran who served during the Vietnam era and was a native of Shrewsbury, Kentucky.
Mr. Booth is survived by his wife, Patty Jo Booth; a son, Larry W. Booth II (Tonya); a daughter, Stacey Ricketts (James); his mother, Irene Booth; several grandchildren; a brother, Kenny Booth; and two sisters, Kathy Cooper and Diana Workman.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 10am at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8519 Preston Highway, with interment following in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visiting will be on Friday from 4pm until 8pm.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the family in care of the funeral home.
