Larry Thomas Barmore

His parents, Lourdes and Theresa “Marie” (Goeing) Barmore, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his siblings, Donna Schwartz (John), Joyce Welsh, Stephen Barmore (Theresa), Paul Barmore (Anita), Charlotte Burch (Pat), Robert Barmore, Linda Lush (Kevin), Terri Higgason (Bruce) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Larry attended Churchill Park School until he graduated at the age of 21.

His favorite activities were bowling, swimming, walking and dancing.

He attended several day programs including the Mattingly Center and Down Syndrome of Louisville.

He lived at Cedar Lake Residences for several years before moving to Cedar Lake Lodge in LaGrange, KY.

Our family will not be the same without Larry, but we will find comfort in our cherished memories.

His spirit will forever shine through the many lives he touched. He left this Earth, but he will never leave out hearts.

Visitation for Larry will be held on Wednesday February 21, 2024 from 2-8 pm at the Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd.

Funeral service for Larry will be held at 10 am Thursday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.

Memorial gifts in Larry’s memory may be made to Cedar Lake Lodge in LaGrange.
