Very sadden to hear the passing of Kevin. He was always a great guy! We enjoyed numerous conversations after shows and on the bus. Wine was a big topic. We will miss you Kevin RIP! Mooch and Shana (Kansas City, MO)

I first met Kevin in 7th grade. We immediately  hit it off and became great friends. He had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. We hung out a lot throughout our school years including skipping our share to stay home and play music together.  We played together in several bands over the years and enjoyed a lot of memorable times together.  My heart grieves. You will be missed my friend. Peace be with the family. God bless.

I am at a loss for words right now... I know that it is a sad day in Louisville. Rest well my friend, you will be missed.

I am Lauren's mother Kathy, and  my family and I are so very saddened over Kevin's passing, it has been difficult to accept. LAuren loved Kevin a great deal and it will be a little no while
For her heart to heal as it will ours. He was taken away too soon , he made a lot of people happy and has left a great legacy for us to remember. God bless his family with strength to get through this. We are broken.

Rest is Peace brother Kevin- I had the pleaser of working with you in EZRA, you are one of a Kind-talented -always willing to help a friend in need. I will always remember the great times watching you play guitar or bass without even a effort.  To you family- may GOD hold you close in this time and comfort you all.

What an amazing man he was.  I met Kevin when he was with Tantric and he is one of those guys you just never forget.  He was one of a kind and a fellow Packer fan that I will never forget. My prayers to his family.

I have so many great memories of you Kevin. Shopping at Meijer and then cooking in your kitchen in Orchard Hills. Getting to know your girls when they were tiny little things. Jamming in your basement. Seeing you play with Tantric and then hanging out on the tourbus with you. Listening to music with a fire in the fireplace. Dogman, brother! :)

You were always so supportive and giving of your time. I remember having these songs written and not being able to sing them like I knew they should be sung. You immediately offered to sing them. And you did. You recorded the vocals in your house with your family upstairs. And, at the end you were as excited about it as I was. 

Your love for life and music was infectious. I can't wait to hang out again. And I am sorry for waking you up with my tapping foot in the middle of the night. :)

Kevin your sadly missed. I grew up with Kevin in Alma and played in bands with him until we both moved away. Our paths crossed about 3 years ago when I saw he was touring in Florida with Uncle Kraker. We met after a couple shows and it was like our friendship picked right back up where we left off. He was a great talent and great friend. I have been listening to his AvantGardeDog music since I heard the news. He will be deeply missed.

RIP KEVIN, We met in the Early 80's and had the pleasure of being bandmates for a year or 2, i had never seen you be mean, get upset, or cast a bad shadow on anything or anyone, even if you were feeling down or sick? you would break up bad mojo with a joke and your laughter. i have met and worked with many talented musicians in my life and you were on top of the list! i honestly don't think you knew how to be arrogant? as i mentioned some of the others with your level of talent would. i still find it all surreal that you are gone? but as i deal with it? i know your memory and kind soul will live on through everyone you have ever met. you will be as popular with God as you were here on earth.  YOU WILL BE FOREVER MISSED, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.

Talent aside, one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He made a difference and touched so many lives. I'm lucky to have spent some time with him.

Lacey and Kinley I am so very sorry to hear of your 
Dads passing. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. From what I have read about your Dad he was an amazing musician and a beautiful soul and you were very lucky to have him as a father! You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Met Kevin back when he was in Mach. Our family's hung out on occasion and Ill always remember how he would quote old George Carlin or Bugs bunny and I knew what he was talking about ! That was our connection, weird comedy. Had some great laughs. So sad he had to go so early but know Kevin was a believer and he's now in God's worship band !

I also went to school with Kevin. You will truly be missed. I remember a friend that always  took time out to talk to everyone . Laughing and having a great time. My sympathies go out to his family. When ever I see 444 I will always think of you.

I knew Kevin back in Alma, MI when he played guitar in my brother's band, Milestone. He just popped into my head yesterday for no apparent reason, or so I thought. He was just a really nice kid. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. I pulled out the old Milestone Promo picture and wish I could post it with this! Memories.

I went to high school with Kevin and even back then I knew that he was going to make a big noise in the music business. I will always remember all the Korny Fest's and Kevin's local shows with Milestone. The world has lost a rare and wonderful talent, but Heaven has gained that same talent. There is still a big rock show going on in Heaven and Kevin is leading the band. My prayers and condolences to all friends and family. My The Lord wrap HIS loving arms around you in your time of loss.

Heaven received a wonderful talent this week. It's an honor to say that I met, and knew Kevin, and listened to his music over the years. Sad to see him go so soon, but happy that I will be in the front row to see him again someday. Rock In Peace Kevin.I send my thoughts and prayers to his family. Truly one of a kind

Though I only got to meet and know Kevin for the last few years, I have been a fan of his for many years. I can not remember anyone who fought harder, or touched so many in his fight these past few years. Louisville sure did love this Michigan born talent and true to heart guy. He will be missed by many. Prayers for his wonderful daughters and his siblings. Heaven got another great one, just way too early for many. RIP Kev you were true hardwood.

I knew Kevin as a teen in the Michigan town of Alma...  He was gifted in his creativity and musical talent.  He shared great faith.  He was lively and fun.  Heaven has some GREAT new music playing by Kevin!  LOVE!  Linda Hoffman

I am sick & devistated over Kevin's passing. I knew him when he was a teen, loved him because even then he knew what he wanted out of life. He was so friendly & always smiling.
