Kenneth A. Hayes, 76, was born in Louisville KY on October 24, 1944 to Murray P. Hayes and Edith V. Grammer Hayes. He died on February 16, 2021 after a brief but devastating illness in Monroe, North Carolina.
Ken is survived by his wife, Lynda Spears Hayes; his son, Michael Patrick Hayes; stepchildren Michael Boffemmyer, and Julia Alessandrini; four grandchildren; his brother, Glen M. Hayes (Louise); and sister, Gayle Hayes Prescott (Edward).
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, H. Douglas Hayes. Ken was an active member and volunteer at his church, Weddington United Methodist Church, Weddington, NC.
