Nana, you are missed more than you will ever know. We shared grandbabies(Lexi and Austin) and great grandbabies(Savannah and Cole). I will never forget your kindness to Austin, or the love you always showed everyone. I miss your soft voice and your smile. You are Loved and Cherished always! Vicki Burden Logsdon

Edna  you always treated me like a sister from the day we met when I was very young  we had the best times playing cards then at Lela’s when we all partied upstairs over the garage dancing having a blast  then we all decided we where going to take dance lessons. But Edna and Bobby were the only ones that did. And they ended up being dance teachers. I was so happy for them. We also had good times in her kitchen  she cut and was perming hair and we would laugh and talk  my son had long hair when he was a baby and needed trimming all the time. She would sit him in my lap and cut away she was the one that gave him his first haircut. Edna will be so missed cause she really took after her mom being so loving and caring with a smile but I have great memories to share. Love you Edna 

Gosh I don't even know where to start. Nana, you have always been so close to my heart. You treated me like family and always hugged me when I needed one. I remember one of the first times that I met you, I hadn't seen Chris in a while and I was visiting and him and I started holding hands and you sat right in between us. Of course we laughed about it, you were always so funny lol. I will miss you so so much and I know Chris will too. We love you bunches. Love, Cassidy. 

Steven and Jay,  I am so sorry for your loss.  Edna was an awesome Aunt and was loved by many.   May you feel God's presence surrounding you during this very difficult time.  I wish I could be there but unfortunately I cannot.  You had an awesome Mom who loved her kids more than anything in this world.  You are in my thoughts and prayers

I was so blessed to have you in my life I even for the short time it was :( I remember the day I met you like it was yesterday.. I walked into your home an you gave me the biggest hug with tears in your eyes, which made me tear up! You made not only me feel so welcome in your life but my children as well.. Nanna you had this beautiful glowing soul that just shined so bright! Hearing stories about you just makes me think, I hope to be half as good as a mom as you were!! Thank you for making such a loving, funny, brave son thank I love so deeply! I will forever see you in Jay and thank you for creating such a wonderful family that I hope to one day be apart of. You will forever be missed!

I've never known or met a stronger yet more gentle woman.  To me she is mom but we all have called her nana so long it just stuck .. she has taught me single handedly about life ,finance, kids struggles ,woes ,and the list goes on ..  I've watched her run 2 sometimes 3 households simultaneously.. she is the true meaning of selfless , caring, and love .. her kids and grandkids was and is always her most prized treasure and legacy. We all hope to be a blessing to her memory .. 

"Nana" was a dear friend during good times and bad. I laugh as I type this,  because I got to know her because we share  granddaughters, Lexi and Savannah. She was introduced to me as "Nana" and I was introduced to her as "Mammaw" and we never called each other anything else. I did not even know her given name was Katie.  "Nana" was truly remarkable. She was one of the most gentle and loving people I have ever been blessed to know.  I never saw her angry. She was always smiling and always more concerned for everyone else than herself. We were happy together, when everyone was doing well, and we cried and prayed together when they weren't.  God made "Nana" and broke the mold!

You've always been so beautiful inside and out💜 I miss you, your smile, your laugh, your hugs, our talks, your  pats, EVERYTHING about you........forever and ever💜 Nana's babygirl 

My dear sweet precious aunt.   You will always be in my heart.  You were one of the sweetest, kindest, gentle, funny people I've ever known.   Will never forget the fun times we had.  I can't believe you're gone so soon.  You will be sorely missed by many.   You were loved by everyone who ever met you.  I'm sure you, mother, Everett, and Vernie, dad, mom, and all the rest of the family who went before you are having a grand ole reunion.   I love you and miss you.   ❤❤❤🌷🌻
