Kathryn "Kitty" Jacobs, 73, passed away February 3, 2021 after her struggle with vascular dementia. As per her wishes, Kitty died peacefully at her home.
Having lived the vast majority of her life in Louisville, most people would know her from Durrett High School(class of 1966), UPS(1974-1996), or as the owner of Kentucky Instant Transportation Inc.(1998-retirement). Kitty was preceded in death by her parents, Birthel and Drucilla Simpson Jacobs. She is survived by her siblings, Nick Jacobs, Wanda Kerger, Jack Jacobs(Lois), and Penny Beard(Danny); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12pm Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Friday, February 12, 2021 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hosparus Health Louisville, as their care was invaluable during Kitty's last days at home.
