Katheryn Ann Mingis

Katheryn was born in Louisville, on August 1, 1943 to the late Charles and Margaret Eisner. She was a graduate of Mercy Academy and a retired Jefferson County public School Teacher Assistant. In Katheryn’s early years she enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time at Lake Cumberland. In her later years, you could find her quilting and working on her 1000+ piece puzzles. As much as she accomplished throughout her life; her biggest accomplishment was her family.

Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her husband of 58 years, William H. Mingis; sons, Stephen Mingis (Michelle) and Chuck Mingis (Lisa); grandchildren, Lena Humphrey (Derek), Ainsley Mingis and Jessica Ann Mingis; great grandchildren, Kenzie, Alex, Charlie, Rosalia, and Scarlette, along with her siblings, Bill Eisner (Martha) and Rita Nevins.

Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 12-6pm on Wednesday, January 8th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. We will be celebrating her life beginning at 6pm on Wednesday.
