

Julie graduated from Southern High School where she was a cheerleader; she also had a Bachelor’s degree from Sullivan University in Hotel and Hospitality services. Julie was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church, as a child she went to grade school at St. Rita and was a cheerleader. Years later her own daughter attends St. Rita School and Julie was able to coach her in cheerleading. Her life’s passions were animals, crystals, live music and all things yellow.
Her grandparents, Margie and Charles Scott, grandmother, Anna Lyons, and stepbrother, Joshua preceded Julie in death.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Carla Scott Schmid (Mark “Tony”), father, James “Jimmy” McMillan(Kim), daughter, Kaylee Nicole McMillan, Kaylee’s Father, Brandon Michael Eades, grandparents, Jim and Linda McMillan, grandmother, Donna Eades, half-sisters, Chelsie McMillan, Abby Cook, Gabby Evans(Matt) and Kristin Marie; Step siblings, Jessica, William, Claudia, Candice, Justin, best friend and fur baby, Gemma, aunts and uncles, Patty, Kevin, cousin Hannah, special friends, Kaitlyn, Sadie, Sequoia, and Alisha, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 2-8pm with a funeral service on Monday at 10:30am at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home in Okolona. Burial will follow the funeral service at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. The family would like for donations in lieu of flowers, be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
