I am very sorry to hear of Judy Alvey Ballard's passing.  My sister Wanda Stephens and Judy were best friends from childhood through adulthood and kept in touch with phone calls, letters, cards and special occasions.  My prayers are with the family and friends.

Thank you all for sharing you thoughts and memories in mother's guest book. I loved to be with mom for many reasons, but her laughter was amazing. I took Dad, Mom, my wife to see Grumpy Old Men at the movie theatre. It is one of the funniest movies of all time and the place was packed. She laughed so genuine and loud, sometimes before the joke's punch line. Her laughter may have offended a few, but not the majority. At the conclusion of the film, a lady told us that she had more fun and laughed more, because of my mom. Me Too! Amen. In memory of one those great mothers, who truly cared about many. My thanks to God for the time with her and dad and planting seeds of faith and good in me. I love Jesus Christ.

She was my neighbor, a playmate, My aunt, And her husband was my first boyfriend.
We used to date him at the same time.... Especially when going to the Preston highway outdoor theater!!! I got to sit by Jim In the car At the drive-ins...
I actually remember going there And Judy was just a little upset.......cause I got lots of hugs and kisses from Jim.... He is the most handsome man I have ever seen.  The date got spoiled sometimes when one or the other had to change my diaper... As I lived next-door and Judy's mom my grandmother, sent me with them to the drive-inLOL

OF COURSE SHE IS MY BELOVED AUNT AND IS NOW HOME WITH HER BELOVED HUSBAND ...MY UNCLE JIM

Fun filled memories of Judy are aplenty.  Judy was a fun loving, sweet lady whom I'll never forget.  We two were ten when we met, then joy and laughter followed.  My sincere condolences to her children, & other family members.

We are remembering your family with love and prayers....Treasure and find comfort in your precious memories of Judy and smile, knowing that there is a "welcome home" celebration in Heaven.
