She was a retired apartment cleaner for Yorktown Apartments after 40 years.
Mrs. Harshfield was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Harshfield; her mother, Audrey Shipley; and two grandchildren, Amanda and Jason Harshfield.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon K. Berg (Clarence) and Belinda Harshfield; two sons, Shelton Ridenour (Edna) and Joe Harshfield; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gene Henderson (Sharon), Bobby Henderson and Jerry Henderson (Dana).
Her service will be on Friday at 12 noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in South Jefferson Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2pm until 8pm.
