Joyce Marie Richardson

Joyce Marie O’Mary Richardson 80, Received her heavenly dancing shoes on December 17, 2020. Joyce was born to the late George and Barbara O’Mary on February 10, 1940. Following graduation from Presentation Academy, she worked at Royal Bank and became vice president of bookkeeping. Once Brian went to school, Joyce went to work for Feeders Supply Company where she spent over 30 years working for a place she truly loved side by side with Roy D!! She was a member of The Dance Bop Club and a huge UK fan. The greatest joy was watching Liv and Blaine play sports and keeping her grand-dog Cutie.

Along with her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her sisters Audrey Borders, Patricia Fontana and Barbara Ellegood.

Joyce is survived by her son Brian Richardson (Jennifer), grandchildren Olivia and Blaine Richardson, dear niece Dana O’Mary Wheatley, siblings George O’Mary Jr. (Patricia), Robert O’Mary, Carolyn Kinder, Sharon Richardson (Mary Ann), life long friend Rose Esterle and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 23rd from 3-6pm with a service to immediately follow at 6pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Presentation Academy.
