Born March 31, 1938, in Springfield-St. Rose, Kentucky, son of Hamilton and Elizabeth Young. He married Mary E. Mills on August 1, 1958. He retired from World Color, Salem, Illinois as a Lithograph plate maker.
Survived by his daughters: Cathy Brockie (Mike), Sheena Rollinson and Valerie Daniels (Dennis). Grandchildren: Chelsie Young (Torey), Taylor Kowal (Sean), Chad Brockie, (Jaime), Bryan Brockie (Amanda), Matthew Brockie (Cortnie), Brad Bailey (Courtney), Ellen Bailey (Chris), Kristin Bailey (Adam), T. J. Monthie, and Barry Daniels. Great Grandchildren: Eli Bailey, Dominic Brockie, Julien Brockie, Ansel Bailey, Vincent Brockie, Caiden Collins, Harrison Brockie, Naomi Kowal, Penelope Brockie and Savannah Kowal. Pat’s siblings: Eugene Young (Diane), Eddie Young (Donna), Laverne Blandford (Don), Hester Brodnik (Chuck), Harold Young (Kathy), Johnny Young (Karen); Sister-In-law: Regina Young.
Many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In-laws: Bridget Newcomb, Rose Shewmaker (Darrel), Jay Mills (Kathleen), Tom Mills (Dot), Angela Mattingly (Richard), Martina Spalding (Norman), Elaine Mills, Ruth Ann Blair (Kenny). Katie Lou Mills, Betty Mills and Carl Thomas and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, son and daughter-in-law, J. P. & Doris Young, son-in-law, Rick Rollinson, brother Leon Young, In-laws: Francis "Blue Boy" Mills, Barbara Jean & Bernard Luckett, Keith& Catherine Marie Sapp, "Joe Boy” Mills, Tresine Thomas and Johnny Newcomb.
