Phillips, Joseph "Fred", 88, passed away August 12, 2018. He was the son of George and Cora Phillips and retired from General Electric after 35 years. Fred loved spending time with his family at Rough River and was a Cincinnati Reds baseball fan.

He was preceded in death by his 6 brothers.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 69 years, Mary C. Phillips; children, Brenda Farley, Charles "Steve" Phillips, Bob Phillips (Julia), Diane Lurie (Ken), Debbie Sears (Harry Pfeiffer), Rhonda Wathen (Bill), and Sheila Allgeier; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Frieda Vaughn.

The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 pm- 8pm at Evergreen Funeral Home.
