Joseph "Mark" Heun III

the husband of Diane Lynn Heun. They shared 51 spunky years of marriage.

Born in Louisville, KY, he was the son of Joseph Marcus Heun Jr., and graduated from Fern

Creek High School, class of 1968. He retired from General Electric where he worked as a

Technical Illustrator.

“Mark” also was an accomplished taxidermist, avid hunter, fisherman, gunsmith, artist and

gardener. He will always be remembered for his love of White Castle sliders and PBR.

He is survived by Diane Lynn Heun “Perkins”, daughter Rachel Diane Heun-Martin (Kurt), son

Eric Marcus Heun (Ashley), granddaughters Ava Marie Heun and Kailee Elizabeth Heun, dog

Missy. He was predeceased by his father and his grandson Hugh Stryder Martin.

The visitation will be held on Friday, January 13th from 11am to 2pm. The memorial service will

take place at 2pm, interment to follow at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
