Joseph T. “Jay” Bolton III, 67, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at UL Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a retired production worker for Mother’s Cookies and a Catholic by faith.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra Thomas Bolton; children, Timothy Hansel, Paul Hansel, Troy Bolton, Neal Bolton, Quincy Bolton, Daniel Bolton, Nicole Bolton, and Anna Marie Smith; siblings Vicki, David, John, Amanda and Debbie; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children Christopher George and Franklin Bolton; and a sister, Joyce. Jay had also been guardian of Hayley Donahue and Jonathan Pappas.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by cremation. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Saturday and after 10am Sunday.
