Johnny was baptized in 1969 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served as an elder with the Huntington Park congregation in Louisville. He was also retired from GE after 30 + years and an avid UK fan.
His sister, Laverne Eads preceded Johnny in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Brenda, Children, Ricky Pruitt(Tracy), Eric Pruitt(Melissa), Beth Allen(Mark), Rachel Bradley(Terry), grandchildren, Justin Pruitt(Leslee), Daniel Pruitt(Shelly), McKenzie Faehr(Cameron), Trevor Pruitt, and Tierney and Jordan Bradley, great grandchildren, Ashton, Wyatt, Kinsley and Hadley, brothers, Leroy, Shelby, George, and Otis Pruitt, sisters, Pauline Holsman, Shirley Bland and Maggie Gaddie.
The family has chosen a private burial. Huntington Park is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
