John G. Osborn

John G. Osborn passed away September 22, 2021. John was a graduate of DeSales High School and went on to attend mortuary school. He served grieving families as a funeral director for many years in Louisville, KY, Jacksonville, FL and Tallahassee, FL. John was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He spent his life volunteering for the communities in which he lived. John had a fun loving personality with a generous heart.

He was preceded in death by his dear wife Brenda L. Greene Osborn and siblings Frances Rohelder and Bob Osborn.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving daughter Elizabeth Hartman (Bryan), grandchildren Joey and Benjamin Blansette and Zoe and Caillyn Hartman and great grandson Karson Smith. John is also survived by his siblings Ann Luckett, Ben Osborn (Linda) and Marian Biven (Fred) and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass for John will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 7500 Tangelo Dr., Louisville, Kentucky 40228. Following the memorial mass will be an inurnment at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40205.
