He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and was the owner of John’s barber shop.
John is preceded in death by his wife, Mona L. Mills.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn M. Hickerson and husband Edward, a son, Gary Mills and a grandson, John L. Hickerson.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 4-8pm Thursday March 13, 2014 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven , 4400 Bardstown Rd..
A private family graveside service to celebrate John's life will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
