John A. Lowe

He was a retired radar technician for the Naval Ordinance station in Louisville, he was a long time bar tender for Buds Tavern in Shively. John loved to fish, shoot his guns and tinker in his shop. But what he loved the most was his wife Marlene and the life they made together.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Earl D. and Stella Lowe, and a brother, David Lowe.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marlene Mae Heck Lowe, their children David R. Lowe (Lydia) and Debra L. Lowe (Mike), sister, Karen A Leanhart (Michael), grandson, Daniel Aaron Lowe(Marissa) and a great grandchild, Killian Troy Lowe.

A funeral service to celebrate John’s life will be conducted at 2pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm on Monday, May 9, 2016 and after 10am the day of the funeral.
