He was born January 23, 1954 in Evanston, IL, the son of John P. Lawler and Mary Jane Schutte Lawler. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents, John A. and Mary P. Lawler and Joseph and Eleanor Schutte.
John was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. He will affectionately be remembered for his devotion to his family and for his love of the outdoors and good music.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Julia Russell Lawler; sons, Sean Lawler, Colin Patrick and Jeff Patrick; father, John P. Lawler, brother, Jeff Lawler and sister, Elizabeth Lawler.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Rd. Interment will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 – 6 PM on Tuesday at Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd.
In lieu of customary expressions, contributions may be made to the National Brain Tumor Association.
