Dr. John Goldsborough, 81, of Louisville, passed away Friday evening, September 17, 2010 at the Episcopal Church Home. He was born December 9, 1928 to the late Dr. Richard M. & Lillian Offutt Goldsborough in Crescent Hill, where he grew up. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam era, where he was a Medical Corp Officer. He was a retired physician, who cared for many folks in the Louisville area. He was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter; Ellen G. Gregory, and sister, Jenny White.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Margaret Ellen Hartman Goldsborough, his 5 children; Ann Travis, Bob Travis, Richard Goldsborough (Nancy), Phillip Goldsborough (Gina), and Jennie Weisenbarger (Charles). 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
A service to Celebrate Dr. Goldsborough’s life will be held at Noon Wednesday at Highland Presbyterian Church, 1011 Cherokee Road, Louisville, KY, with interment at Cave Hill Cemetery. Friends and family are welcomed to visit Tuesday 4-7 p.m. at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home 2428 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206
