Colvin, John H. Sr., "Hank" 86, passed away September 23, 2013. John was a U.S. Army veteran. He had been a faithful member for many years at South Jefferson Christian Church and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 865. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Irene Colvin. John left behind to cherish his memory his children John H. Colvin Jr., Sherry Henshaw (Mike) and Gary Colvin (Celia), grandchildren Ryan, Shelly, Tara and Amanda and five beautiful great grandchildren. A service honoring the life of John will be held Thursday at 12 noon at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-8pm at the funeral home.
