He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn Brown.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, John M. Brown III (Dawn), Donald A Brown (Patti), and Dorothy L. Smith (Joseph); grandchildren, Amanda Blevins (Isaac), Elizabeth Carolyn Brown, Julia Lynn Brown, Elizabeth Ann Waldroup (R.J.), Brandon Christopher Robinson, Corey Pribek, Amanda Mohn, Kyle Mohn, and Alexis Sell; 2 great granddaughters, Addylynn Krueger and Grace Ann Waldroup; and siblings, Margret Clites, Bill Brown, and Jean Bryant.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00pm-6:00pm with cremation to follow at Evergreen Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made in John’s name to the Wounded Warrior Fund.
