80, entered into rest on Sunday, December 13, 2015.He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Schepers Binford; brother, Sunny Binford; sister, Ruth Hornback. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. He retired from Kroger as a produce and meat packer. He also served his country in the Army National Guards and an Avid UK fan. John and his wife Betty help start The Southwest Center for the Developmentally Disabled.He is survived by his sons, Gary Binford and Todd Binford (Melody); his one and only granddaughter, Chelsa Binford; brother, Jimmy Binford (Pat); sister, June Thomas; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved.His service will be noon on Thursday at the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home, with burial following in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. and on Thursday after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.Contributions can be made to Southwest Center for the Developmentally Disabled.
