He was born February 3, 1945 in Louisville, the son of John Sr. and Mamie (Coe) Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bobby and one sister, Beverly “BooBoo”.
John took great satisfaction in watching his kids and grandkids in any type of sport or club function. He worked as a Car Salesman for many years in the Louisville area and the car sales community will not be the same without him.
Survivors include two sons, John and Frank; a daughter, Lisa; seven grandchildren; his former wife, Donna Berman; and two sisters, Phyllis Rickson and Nancy Morriss.
A service to celebrate John’s life will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 14, 2019 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-6 PM on Sunday and after 9:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
